This year with the support of family and friends my good friend Bainsey and myself will be participating in the 2025 Parish Walk. Our aim to raise funds for St John’s Ambulance - Isle of Man.

My mother Kathleen Crosby was an active senior member of the Island association and ran the Laxey volunteer division until her untimely death in 1985. She was involved for nearly 25 years👍.

2025 marks 40 years since she passed away. We are hoping to raise as much money to support this very worthy charity.

My father Gordon Crosby also supported the charity for many years .

For the last two years I’ve managed to walk to Peel despite suffering from Fibromyalgia. My symptoms include unrefreshed sleep, headaches / migraines, irritable bowel, cognitive disturbances, brain fog, sensitivity to light and environmental changes as well as pain throughout my body.

Our aim is also to walk again to Peel (32.5 miles) which would be a massive achievement and hopefully further🙏💪🇮🇲

St John Ambulance Isle of Man, is a volunteer-led, health and first aid registered charity. They step forward in the moments that matter, playing a vital role in the heart of the Island’s community, saving lives and keeping vulnerable members of the community safe.
