Story

Thank you for coming here to support me!

Like you, I'm also not quite sure how I got here... taking on the London Marathon is by far the biggest challenge I have undertaken - both mentally & physically. The cold, dark mornings have certainly made getting up to go on a run before work extra tough, but i'm putting the miles in for an extremely worthwhile cause!

I have recently become involved with the Waterloo Kitchen Project, who provide hot meals, shelter and community to those struggling in London through their 'Waterloo Community Fridge'.

Alongside my colleagues at Jimmy Garcia Catering, I have spent time volunteering here and learning more about their wonderful projects. As someone who loves a great meal with bottle of wine, it has really opened my eyes to how much we take this for granted. I have seen first hand the overwhelming difference donations to this charity make, and I hope you will join me in supporting this cause.

The Waterloo Community Fridge team have created a welcoming space open to all, where people can come together to eat, learn new skills, or take good food home to cook themselves and most importantly, stop good food from going to waste!

Thanks for you all of your support. I really do appreciate it.

See you at the finish line!
