I’m taking on two big challenges this year — the Manchester Half Marathon and Total Warrior Ultra — to raise money for Community Grocery / Message Trust.

As manager of Wythenshawe Community Grocery, I see first-hand how much of a difference this support makes to local families facing food poverty and financial pressure. Every donation helps provide affordable food, dignity and practical support to people who need it most.

Both events will really push me physically and mentally, but if it helps others, it’s worth every mile, obstacle and sore leg.
