Story
This will be my second marathon and more importantly my second time for Brain Research UK.
Having lost our Dad to a Brain Tumour, aged 62, I am running the 2024 marathon in memory of my Dad but also for some close friends and colleagues that have been affected with a neurological condition.
Brain Research UK is the leading national funder dedicated to research into neurological conditions. Our vision is a world where everyone with a neurological condition lives better, longer
Brain Tumours account for more deaths under 40 than any other cancer and 1 in 5 deaths in the UK are due to a neurological condition.
.
Any donation received, however small would be fantastic. I look forward to running with the BRUK team, a group of amazing, inspiring people.
I will begin training and keep you updated through this page and my social media accounts.
Thank you so much for reading and your support is truly appreciated
