Andrew Fletcher Eyecare staff have decided to undertake the challenge of completing 31 Marathons over March, effectively a marathon a day!

The reason we are doing this is to raise money and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease Association.

This is a charity that has become very close to our hearts. Most of our patients will know Sharon who is one of our Optical Assistants. Some of us have worked with her for over 30 years. Her husband was diagnosed in 2022 with Motor Neurone Disease.

Sadly John passed away in January however he was very supportive of our challenge and had hoped to join us for a few walks.

MND Association funds and promotes research that leads us to new understanding and treatments, and brings us closer to a cure for MND.

We will be walking together, individually and with our families, then collating our miles.

We appreciate not everyone is in a position to donate however if you are we would be very appreciative.
