Story
Four years ago I groaned at the thought of running to the shops.
Three years ago I started running every day, and entered my first half marathon.
Two years ago I ran my first full marathon.
Last year I entered my first trail ultra in Antalya.
Now... 100km. This will be brutal for me, despite effectively training up for it for years.
It is astonishing how much of a boost running has given my physical health, but especially my personal approach to life. Mental health might still have a lingering hint of taboo or uncertainty for some people, but I can only speak from my experience; getting the runners on every day gives me purpose, fitness, a clear head and a sense of achievement. Supporting Mind seemed like the logical choice.
