Tommy Ride to Ypres 2025

Andrew Freedman is raising money for Royal British Legion Industries

Tommy Ride to Ypres 2025 · 27 June 2025 to 29 June 2025 ·

Ride to the Menin Gate for RBLI in 2025! We’ll be starting at Aylesford in Kent to do 2 days of cycling, finishing at the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres, Belgium.

Story

For the past two years, I’ve cycled the 43-mile Big Blue Ride in support of Prostate Cancer UK. As that event isn’t happening this year, I’ve set my sights on this new challenge — The Tommy Ride to Ypres.

This challenge is a two-day, 152-mile cycle from the RBLI Village in Kent to the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium, in support of RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries).

This amazing charity, separate from The Royal British Legion, receives no Poppy Appeal funding. It provides housing, care, and employment support to disabled and disadvantaged members of the Armed Forces community.

As we mark the 81st anniversary of D-Day, and the 80th anniversary of VE Day, I’m asking for your support in honour of all those who have sacrificed so much to secure the freedoms we so often take for granted. Any contribution you can make would mean the world to me — and to those who benefit from RBLI’s life-changing work.

Thank you!
