Story
Following the very sad news this weekend of the passing of my friend and fellow Pudsey Pacer Mark Dixson I have decided to run the Great North Run in his memory for Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice. Phillipa has told me how wonderful the staff there were.
Mark was one of the first people I met at The Pacers when I joined 20 years ago and instantly took to him. We had many a run together. He was such a lovely, friendly guy. A great sense of humour and time for everyone. He will be greatly missed by many.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and received.
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
