In Memory of My Dad

Sadly, my Dad recently passed away and is now at peace.

A few years ago, he and I completed two walking challenges together to raise money for St Julia’s Hospice. The Heard family are continuing that support now, in his memory.

While he was being cared for at St Julia’s, we spoke about a cycling challenge he once took on—riding all the way from The Jamaica Inn to Blackpool. I’ll be doing my best to recreate that ride soon (details and date to follow).

This fundraiser is our way of saying thank you for the incredible compassion, care, and dignity shown to Dad during his time at the hospice. Every donation helps support their vital work and honours his memory.
