Cancer.

The big C.

Well its most definitely a C word but not one we can put on here.

We use to hear people fighting or sadly dying of Cancer.

But never did we ever think it would come knocking on our friends and families doors.

A few years ago you could watch celebrity bake off and it would say

"1 in 4 of us would get cancer"

but the most concerning thing is,now its

"1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our life time".

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing and sadly it has effected people we care about the most.

It has taken away friends and family,

We have people in our lives who are defying the odds and sticking there middle finger up to Cancer and saying "im still here and im not going any where just yet".

We have people in our lives who have beaten Cancer and gone on in life to live full healthy lives and we are thankful we can still make memories with them.

One of them is the most important woman in Lewis's life,his mum.

"Im so proud of her and how far she has come through it all,I never told her how worried and scared I was at the time because I had to be strong for her and my family,she is a wonderful person and im so proud to have her as a mum"

Sadly we also currently know people who have been told

"we can no longer do any more for you".

This literally breaks people physically and mentally on a daily basis and we see how much it can effect them and there love ones coming to terms with this is it,no more treatment can help you.

And its heart breaking to see.

So wr have decided to push ourselves and walk up Ben nevis on July 20th to help raise money for Macmillian cancer support.

Macmillan will do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.

We are no way the fittest people in the world but we will finish it together.

This walk is to help support charity, to celebrate the ones who have beaten this horrible disease, to remember the ones we lost,to remember the ones still fighting and for all there families.
