As a New Yorker , I have seen the homeless youth, runaways on our streets growing up, through no fault of their own, bad luck or unfortunate circumstances. I am looking to raise funds for the toybox organization to give every child a chance. On a personal note I’m an adopted child , I’ve retraced my history before my family adopted me - the community I was born in was a very poor one with no electricity in Busan, South Korea; I’ve been told by living relatives my birth father was abusive and I understand how I could very well have ended up in a very negative circumstance. As an adult looking back i understand the fortunate position I’m in to help the next person.
