As some of you may know, in April this year, Andrew was diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA), and since then our lives have changed in ways we could never have imagined. It’s a little-known but incredibly serious condition, mainly affecting people over 50 and particularly women. Without rapid diagnosis and treatment, it can cause irreversible blindness, stroke and, in rare cases, life-threatening complications.

This is now an illness incredibly close to our hearts.

By raising money and awareness, we hope something positive can come from what has been an incredibly difficult time for our family — helping more people recognise the signs, receive treatment quickly and supporting vital research into this often overlooked disease. This is a very small charity where even just a couple of pounds will make a difference
