In hope of achieving my 60th Birthday Challenge of walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way, I have decided that now is the time to try and raise some money for the SANDS charity.

We are so lucky to have two lively, healthy, intelligent grandsons which to some extent hides for us that our family has been directly affected by the loss of two children.

We keep everything crossed that the third one that is on the way will arrive fit and healthy in early February 2025.

Sands operates across the UK and provide a multitude of services from rooms to give birth in privately, memory boxes, cold cots, coffins, and many pieces of equipment, as well as trained therapists for support post birth and for neonatal deaths.
