Leukodystrophies are rare genetic disorders that mainly affect the white matter of the central nervous system (ie the brain or spinal cord). They affect people of all ages and backgrounds, most notably children.

In January 2023, my son Cameron was diagnosed with Krabbe’s Leukodystrophy and he devastatingly lost his hard fought battle on 11th March 2025.

I always enjoyed it when Cameron and Hannah would come and support me at races and loved seeing him at the finish lines.

Alex TLC have supported us and so many other families. To continue to provide the best support possible to those affected, I want to raise as much money as I can and run The London Marathon in Cameron’s honour.
