Story
I'm raising money for Cancer Research, in memory of our Dads and also for my awesome Mother in Law Christine, who is facing an ongoing battle right now.
I don't know first hand just how tough it is, but if I can do some voluntary suffering myself, I'm hoping that others can find some strength and inspiration from it!
This summer I am planning on embarking on my biggest running challenge yet, running the entire length of the River Severn, from source to sea, over 4 days. From Plynlimon in Powys, to Severn Beach (just under the m4 Severn crossing) - there will be 220 miles of running to do.
I've never attempted anything this big before, and I can't wait to have a crack at it. I've been wanting to have a go at it for aaaaages, but never had the opportunity (or the fitness). The weather, terrain, and my work schedule are all key factors in when I can get this done in one go.
Every year the river floods and it causes chaos around where we live, so this is my chance to get my own back on the river. That makes absolutely no sense but this maybe the only time I'll ever feel like I've got one up on it.
My awesome wife Laura will be crewing me the whole time, and making sure that I have supplies every 10-20km or so on the trail. Of course, Daisy is coming too.
Updates will be over on my Instagram page, and my Strava if you'd like to see my daily progress!

There will be 4 stages.
Day 1 Source - Crewgreen (Eng Wales border) 88km
Day 2 Crewgreen- Bewdley 93km
Day 3 Bewdley - Gloucester 78km
Day 4 Gloucester - Severn Beach 77km
What am I doing.
This is a crazy challenge.
However one thing you should know about me is that I'm incredibly stubborn and it'll take something big for me to not finish this.
Any support you can give will be massively appreciated!
