Story
Running has always been a passion of mine, and this year, on 6 September 2026, I am excited to be participating in the annual Run Norwich 10k through the vibrant streets of Norwich, a city which I proudly call home. Although I missed out on the main draw due to work commitments, I was fortunate to secure a charity place thanks to Vision Norfolk.
Vision Norfolk has been a beacon of hope and support for over 200 years, empowering people with sight loss across Norfolk to live independent and fulfilling lives. With an estimated 35,000 individuals facing some degree of sight loss in our community, their work is more vital than ever. They provide adapted social, sports, and educational activities; practical support through visiting community workers; assistance at eye clinics and community hubs; as well as specialized housing and telephone befriending services.
I have committed to raising £150 for Vision Norfolk to help continue their incredible work. Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of those living with sight loss. Please join me in supporting this worthy cause by donating today — together we can help ensure that everyone affected by sight loss has access to the care and opportunities they deserve.
