I am competing for Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team (AMRT) in the Montane Summer Spine MRT Challenge North 2025 to raise awareness of the incredible work done by volunteer Mountain Rescue teams across the UK.

AMRT is on call 24/7 365 days a year, providing rescue services for anyone requiring assistance in and around the hills of NE Scotland. Based in Aberdeen, the team also provides assistance to Police Scotland in searching for missing persons in a more urban environment.

AMRT is funded through a combination of our own fundraising activities and a small grant from the Scottish Government.
