Story
As someone with epilepsy, I'm hugely grateful for the research and other work the Epilepsy Society does to make so many people's lives better, safer and more liveable. I'm also grateful for the benefits people with epilepsy can receive – and given that many of us can't drive, that includes access to transport.
The Freedom Pass I've had since I lived in London is coming to an end soon, and to celebrate it, I'm raising money for the Epilepsy Society by trying to ride the entire Tube – reaching all 272 stations – in under 24 hours.
While I'm not going for the almost impossible world record, I'll be playing by its rules: travelling to, from or through every Tube station via a scheduled train without using private transport, so no bikes, cabs or lifts from helpful mates.
