Hi. My name is Andrew Peill, a retired chartered surveyor living in Cumbria. I recently met a friend of mine who told me of his journey from London to Ukraine delivering an ambulance to Lviv approximately 100 miles inside Ukraine.

His story touched my heart and his wonderful efforts to help those people affected by the war has ignited my desire to do something similar, so I volunteered for the charity called Medical Life Lines Ukraine (MLLU). That charity has delivered 113 ambulances to war-torn areas of Ukraine since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion on 24th February 2022. Russia continues to target infrastracture and apartments and the demand for all types of medical aid is unrelenting. It is almost impossible to imagine looking out of your living room window to see armoured vehicles approaching and turning quiet streets into a battle ground.

This organisation delivers ambulances and emergency medical supplies into Ukraine to help the population following Russia's invasion. These efforts and those of other charities have saved many lives and more importantly have shown the people of Ukraine that many people outside their country are fully aware of their plight and keen to help them.

In March 2026, I will be one of the drivers in a convoy of 6 ambulances each carrying much needed medical supplies travelling across Europe to Ukraine. Each ambulance and its contents, which will be left in Ukraine, costs approximately £20,000 and each driver is asked to try and raise at least £7,000 which will go entirely to this great cause.

Please help me raise this amount which will make a huge difference to the people of Ukraine who are in dire need of our help.
