Andrew's fundraiser for Battersea

Andrew Turner is raising money for Battersea

Thames Path Ultra Challenge 2026 · 12 September 2026 to 13 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.

Story

I’m taking on a huge challenge: walking 100km in 24 hours to raise money for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. I will be doing this the weekend of September 12th 2026. The route is linked below.

Battersea gives abandoned and neglected animals a second chance, providing love, care, and a safe place until they find their forever homes. It’s a cause that’s very close to my heart.

• £8 will cover the cost of caring for hand-rearing puppies for one month,

including vaccinations to protect against illnesses and disease.

• £10 can by a blanket for a dog or cat to ensure they keep warm in their

kennel

• £12 will cover the cost of giving sick kittens round-the-clock nursing care

for one month from one of our amazing vet nurses.

• £15 will pay for us to microchip a dog or cat. We microchip every animal in

the Home so if they get lost again they can be reunited with their owner

This walk will push me physically and mentally, but every step will be worth it if it helps Battersea continue their incredible work.

Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference — thank you so much for your support.
