Andy's son O was born with Ushers Syndrome, a gentic condition that impacts his hearing (born deaf), sight (loss during adolescence) and reduced balance.

Since his diagnosis, Andy & family have received support from many organisations, but Usher Kids UK have been ever present helping us through understanding the diagnosis, helping with advocacy, meeting other parents and arranging events for O to meet other children with Usher's. They do this through online information and communities and in person events and meet ups. Ultimately their emotional support has been invaluable to Andy and his wife Sarah.

So this year we will be riding 205 miles / 330km in one day (June 21st)! Setting off at sunrise in Minster On Sea (east coast of England) and riding across the country to Weston-super-Mare (west coast) aiming to get there before sunset.
