Story
As many of you know, Ethan Wright sadly passed away last year. In his memory, I decided to take on a 10k challenge on Sunday 31st May 2026 to raise money for Francis House.
Ethan spent a significant amount of time at Francis House, and I personally saw the incredible love, care and support they gave to Ethan, as well as to many other children and young adults across Greater Manchester. Their impact on families going through the toughest of times cannot be overstated.
Anyone who knew Ethan will remember that, despite living with Muscular Dystrophy, he always had a smile on his face and was a true inspiration to us all.
When I first suggested completing a 10k, I never expected anyone to join me, given that the furthest we had ever collectively run was to the nearest public house. So I’m just as surprised as you are to be announcing that Ellis Wright, Bethany Roberts, Ellice Eadie, Jack Comrie, Daniel Burke, Macca Strange and Paul Truelove all agreed to take part.
We have no doubt that Ethan would have taken great enjoyment in watching us train for this.
Thank you so much for any support you can give, it's greatly appreciated.
