Story
On 21st December 2023 I lost my beautiful daughter Grace to a cardiac arrest following an epileptic seizure. Grace was only 16yrs old and had her whole life ahead of her. She has left a void that will never be filled but she will forever be remembered.
Running has played a huge part in helping me deal with her loss, supported by the wonderful people at Northampton Road Runners. Combining my love for running with the opportunity to raise money to reduce the chances of this happening to people in future and improve the quality of life for people living with epilepsy seemed like the obvious thing to do.
Really happy that the Epilepsy Research Institute have given me the opportunity to raise money for them in the London marathon. Their mission is to radically advance research for the 1 in 100 people living with epilepsy. A life free from epilepsy is possible. But only through research.
I am very excited to run London for the first time but I like to keep pushing the boundaries so I am also doing:
> The UTMB World Series Snowdonia Ultra-Trail 100km on 17/18th May 2025.
> Having another go at trying to complete 100miles @ Endure 24 on 7/8th June 2025
I would massively appreciate any donations and I hope to do Grace proud, thank you!
