After years of applying, I finally received a place in the 2026 The London Marathon, it is an incredible event which have wanted to do for many years, having never run more than an half marathon this will be a great personal achievement.

So why have I chosen to support Leicester Hospitals Charity. In 2019 me and my wife were expecting twins, unfortunately due to complications late on in pregnancy, we lost both boys, Harry & Jack. The Leicester Royal maternity unit helped us through this difficult time with the use of their bereavement suite and cold cot, which provided us time to grieve with Harry and Jack.

I am please say we now have a little boy who is about to turn 5 and another one on the way coming in July and have received fantastic support through our healthy pregnancies from the hospital throughout.

We want to raise as much money for the Leicester hospital and maternity unit, it will certainly help keep me going over the 26.2 miles!
