Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am excited to be running the London Marathon in aid of 'Fishing for Schools.' Thank you for any support you could kindly give which will edge me towards the finish line.

'Fishing for Schools,' an amazing project delivered by The Countryside Alliance Foundation, goes into schools to help disadvantaged children develop their confidence, education and skills through fishing. Thousands of young people have been reached across England and Wales, who struggle to learn in the classroom. 'Fishing for Schools' provides well-being benefits through participation in fishing and being in the countryside, increasing their motivation and life skills, including leadership and team building.

To raise funds for such a life-enhancing project is humbling.

Thank you so much; I really appreciate your support.

About the charity

Many children and young people know little about the countryside and rural way of life. Its programme of educational initiatives will introduce them, and their teachers, to the beauty, importance and diversity of our rural heritage, inspiring them to become passionate about its future and protect it for future generations.
