My son Sam and I are entering the Scottish tough mudder to raise much needed funds for VOCAL. The challenge involves a 15k run, 20+ obstacles and mud, lots of mud!

I have worked for VOCAL for over 7 years as a carer support practitioner but still remain proud and impressed with the support provided.

VOCAL’s carer support teams work with unpaid carers to help identify the issues affecting them, and achieve the best possible outcome for carers.

VOCAL delivers support through centres in Edinburgh and Midlothian, and through staff based in the community. VOCAL works individually with carers to identify a plan of support which can include work with other agencies, benefits, legal or power of attorney surgeries, counselling and short breaks
