Story
On the 27th October 2023 (subject to weather), I will be trying to conquer my fear of heights by jumping out of a perfectly good plane at 15,000 feet to raise money for a very important cause, Sophie’s Legacy.
My stomach is already churning just thinking about the jump, but we need to raise funds to help continue supporting families in hospital that are going through traumatic times and that’s way more important than my fear of heights.
Sophie sadly died aged just 10 from cancer.
Sophie's Legacy was created to complete Sophies bucket list and make national changes.
Sophies Legacy supports families in hospital by providing food, toiletries etc and want to be able to provide.
• Play specialist 7 days a week in hospitals.
• Improvements to food for children in hospital
• For parents to be fed when staying with their child
• For GP's, nurses and health professionals to be trained in childhood cancer.
• To increase the funds (currently 3%) in childhood cancer research
Anything you can donate will truly make a difference so please dig very deep.
