fundraiser for Wigan and Leigh Hospice in memory of Peter Simpson

Andrew Simpson is raising money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice
In memory of Peter Simpson
We provide specialist end-of-life care, and a wide range of support services, to over 1,200 people who are living with a life-limiting illness in the Wigan Borough. Many patients are cared for in their own homes, although we also care for people living in care homes and in our In-Patient Unit.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set up this page in memory of my dad Peter Simpson who sadly passed away on the 16th February after a short battle with cancer.

Peter was a loving husband, a father to 2 sons, a Grandad to 2 grandsons and an inspiration to many students of Byrchall high school and St. John Rigby college throughout his long career as at teacher and then learning mentor. The amount of messages of condolence and nice things said about dad since his passing are a testament to the man he was.

His bad jokes and sometimes painfully long stories will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.

The care and support he received from Wigan and Leigh hospice was second to none.

I would like to support this wonderful charity in memory of my dad, any donations would be greatly appreciated to help the charity continue to do the wonderful work that they do!

Thank you
