I am competing in my second Parkinsons Disease Table Tennis World Cup in Germany this September. There will be up to a thousand people competing and I'd like to play not just for me, but for people with Parkinsons who don't have the incredible support we have in the UK.

I am raising money for Parkinsons Africa. I have seen two films and spoken to people who work in African countries and it is truly heart wrenching watching people trying to deal with Parkinsons without medication. Parkinsons Africa are a charity that "empowers Africans impacted by Parkinson's Disease through education, clinical services and medication pathways". Having Parkinsons is hard enough but in areas of poverty, where extremely effective, cheap and life preserving medication is still out of reach of many, your donation will go a long way.
