Our son, Christian, was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease when he was just 8 months old. We didn't know anything about it, we just knew that our darling boy was really poorly and no matter how many trips to the GP and A&E it took, no one was recognising it.

Eventually our GP suspected Kawasaki Disease and Christian was admitted to hospital for urgent treatment. He was so lucky but if we had known about this illness we may have had it diagnosed sooner.

This charity works tirelessly to raise awareness not just to the public but to medical professionals, its absolutely invaluable.
