After recently completing a 500km cycling challenge with the insurance industry in support of Action Medical Research, I’m continuing my charity journey with another exciting event: Race the Sun – Lake District.

Race the Sun is a tough but rewarding team challenge where teams of two or four aim to complete cycling, hiking, and canoeing/kayaking all in one day — racing against the clock to finish before sunset!

I’m taking on this challenge because Action Medical Research is a cause close to my heart. They are the UK’s leading charity dedicated to saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. Their work has helped beat polio, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis, and prevent stillbirths — but there’s still so much more to do.
