Story
In the first half of 2023, GOTO Tech London raised around £5,000 (including UBS match giving) for SportInspired Charity through a series of events ranging from the athletic (Thames200 Triathlon) to the more relaxed (Cake Bake Sale)!!!
In H2, we have cranked up the fundraising efforts:
1) On September 10th 7 GOTO London team members (Matthew Oatham, Dietmar Nowatschek, Gerard Waldron, Harry Robinson, Dhruvesh Patel, Kostiantyn Buryi and Vyacheslav Volodchenko) completed a 55 mile bike ride over the South Downs from London to Brighton.
2) On September 13th,100 GOTO London volunteers supported our annual SportInspired Festival of Sport which enables 250 Primary School children from Hackney to try out 6 new sports. This helps promote physical and mental health in the school children.
3) Now on October 26th, the Volunteering Global SuperDay, people will be tackling a wide range in-person and virtual volunteering events. They will importantly be fuelled by lots of delicious cakes made by bakers across our London teams.
SportInspired is a London-based social enterprise that strives to make a long term impact on the community. They do this through encouraging children to join local sports clubs and providing equipment to schools in order to promote a healthier and happier lifestyle.
This is a truly worthwhile cause and we appreciate any support you can give!!!
Many thanks
