During my year as Lord Mayor of Bristol, 2024 to 2025, I had the pleasure of meeting Ian Styles, who set up the Green Intercity Postal Service.

Every year for the last ten years, Ian has cycled between Bristol and Bath delivering letters from the Lord Mayors of our two great cities, and raising a huge amount of money for Breast Cancer Now.

This year, Ian asked me if I would join him, and I jumped at the chance. On 1 May, we will depart from Bristol with a letter from the current Lord Mayor.

I have chosen Parkinson’s UK as my charity. My mother has been living with Parkinson’s for many years and I know first hand how debilitating that disease can be. Any support you can give would be very greatly appreciated.
