BHS Sponsored Mountain Bike Ride · 30 September 2023

Parents and teachers from Bramhall High will attempt to mountain bike 55 km into, and with 1150m climbing over the beautiful sights in the hills of the Peak District, to raise money for projects to enrich the kid's learning experience.

Story

Sometimes it's the simple things that make the most difference. Having availability of the correct text books in a decent condition, functioning facilities where children can learn and consider a safe place. The funds raised from the mountain bike ride will all go directly towards the school improving their ability to continue their excellent work teaching and educating our children.

I do cycle quite a lot nowadays, but given some of the injuries I have picked up this year from, erm, being me... (stop sniggering at the back) which are all undoubtably UNrelated to my age, mean that this will be even more of a challenge for me! Having sponsorship to reflect on as a reason for why I'm completing this off-road 55km ride will definitely help me battle the 1150m of hills and terrain in the day.

Schools, now more than ever, are facing significant financial pressures and cuts that are affecting our children's education. The stats are gauling and raising funds through the PTA is a broader way of helping plug some of the gaps that have emerged.

Please give generously to keep and improve the resources that are vital for our children's education.
