Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! I have decided to take on a personal challenge by participating in the Wigan Half Marathon on 16th March 2025. This is a significant step for me, as I have never run more than 10k in my life.

I am passionate about fitness, but this event is truly out of my comfort zone. My motivation for this challenge goes beyond personal achievement; it is to support a very worthy cause - The Police Children's Charity. This charity plays a vital role in supporting police families by alleviating the financial pressures they face while raising children during life-changing circumstances. These circumstances can include the tragic loss of a police officer or their partner, or situations where an officer must take early medical retirement, whether due to on-duty incidents or other issues.
