Andrew's fundraiser for MND Scotland

Wellington Marathon 2025 · 29 June 2025
MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neuron Disease (MND), as well as funding research to take us a step closer to a cure.
We want a world without Motor Neuron Disease, so I’m fundraising because I want to help find a cure for this devastating disease.
Sponsoring me will also help MND Scotland to provide practical, financial, and emotional support to people affected by MND.
Thank you!
Having experienced first hand with my family what this horrible disease done to my Dad and eventually took his life in the most horrific way over a period of only a few months, had it not been for the amazing doctors, nurses and MND specialist care at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary who cared for my Dad and gave us such wonderful support,we couldn’t have managed. My Dad was the most amazing man who did everything he could for our dear Mum,family, friends and others, even in death by way of selflessly donating part of his brain and spine as to help medical research on finding a cure for this disease,I’m honoured to be able to support and raise as much money & awareness as I can for MND in his name and memory along with my friend Paul Ratcliffe by running the Wellington Marathon on Sunday 29 June 2025.
Thanks for you kind donation
Andrew Wonnacott.
