Padstow to Rock 2025
Campaign by Marie Curie (RCN 207994 (England & Wales) and SC038731 (Scotland))
Swim one mile across the Camel Estuary on Friday 8 August 2025 and raise money to help Marie Curie Nurses continue to care for people at the end of life, whatever the illness.

Story

Hi all.

After all these years of "Cornwall Life" we have decided to make the (literal) plunge and enter the Padstow to Rock annual charity swim.

Along with hundreds of other hardy souls we will be swimming a route across the Camel Estuary of about 1 and half miles whilst dodging jellyfish, sharks, pasties etc.

The swim is also a fund raising platform for Marie Curie and it would be great of you could help us on our way with a small donation.

Marie Curie is there for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, MC are with you to the end. They bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care given at home, in their hospices and over the phone. MC push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.

Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and need your support to do their vital work.
