Cancer is a F*cker and what if does to people is horrible, the fact that chemotherapy then removes part of your identity is horrendous.

When my husband started his chemo the first thing we did was for him to take control and to remove his hair before he could loose it. It was his way of showing the middle finger and taking control of his battle.

For other family members, like my mother-in-law, the first thing I remember them saying was "will I loose my hair?

Our hair is pride. It's our identity. It makes a part of us.
