We provide information, support and services to people with acquired brain injury, their families and carers. We run an Independence and Wellbeing Centre, Community Social & Activity Groups, Welfare Benefits & Counselling Services, and monthly Family and Friends group.

Story

Every year around 350,000 people are admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury.

That's one every 90 seconds.

Our goal is to raise money for the wonderful Headway, a UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury by providing vital support and information to those who need it.

We will be raising money and donating specifically to Headway in Cardiff and South East Wales, as donations for these smaller charities go so much further.

We are specifically looking to raise funds to enable Headway in Cardiff and South East Wales to run brand new independence and wellbeing sessions, music therapy, drama and exercise classes for people recovering from brain injury.

In losing Andrew, our family have experienced first hand the devastating impact such injuries cause. If we can make a difference to just one person’s life, then that is a wonderful thing to be a part of.

The Challenge !

This year, myself and my daughter Megan are planning on completing the 3 peak challenge in memory of Andrew. We will be climbing the three largest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa, on three consecutive days. We will be hiking around 23 miles and climbing 11,178 ft.

We would be extremely grateful for donations of any size. Now let’s smash this and make Andrew proud.
