Please sponsor Andrew’s epic Skiathon this January for Dufatanye

Andrew Corke is raising money for Grass Roots Rwanda

Skiathon

Supporting the work of the Anglican Church in Shyogwe Diocese to relieve financial hardship due to poverty, sickness, disability and old age, through education and training in agriculture, health and nutrition, reconciliation, giving spiritual and moral teaching and teaching vocational skills thus providing income and self-sufficiency for each family unit.

Story

Seems like a crazy idea but on 20th January I skied the height of Everest and the length of a marathon in aid of Dufatanye in Rwanda - check out the video which is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSCDbcalnfk

Dufatanye is an amazing organisation combatting HIV/AIDs, malnutrition, and poverty in Nyanza in the south of Rwanda (check out https://dufatanye.org/) . They regularly impact the lives of 30,000 vulnerable people in 2000 households, including 4,500 children and young people. The plan is to raise enough money to enable Dufatanye to expand their work by building a new training and education building.

Please help by sponsoring my epic ski run and donating to Dufatanye’s British Charity, Grass Roots Rwanda (https://www.grassrootsrwanda.com/ - Charity No 1086330). If you can Gift Aid your sponsorship even better as it will increase the money going to Dufatanye by another 25%!

Thank you everyone - you are amazing!
