Andrey's fundraiser for Ukrainian Action (UK)

IronMan 70.3 Jönköping (Sweden) · 6 July 2025
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
I am excited to be taking on the Ironman 70.3 Jönköping (Sweden) on 6 July 2025! This race means more to me than just personal endurance—I'm fundraising to provide critical medical supplies for the brave medics treating victims of the devastating missile attack that struck Sumy, Ukraine, on 13 April 2025.
Over 100 people were admitted to Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital, suffering severe shrapnel wounds and burns. Located near the front lines, the hospital was already stretched to its limit and now, the need for essential wound care instruments and dressings is greater than ever.
Through Ukrainian Action (UK), a trusted charity I’ve worked with before, we will deliver these crucial supplies to the border, where local volunteers will transport them directly to the hospital in Sumy.
This will be my sixth Ironman 70.3 triathlon, but at 62, the challenge isn’t as easy as it once was. However, your support gives me the strength to push forward. Together, we can make a real difference, helping both soldiers and civilians in Ukraine, a nation fighting not only for its freedom*but for democracy itself.
Ukrainian Action (UK) is an incredible organisation dedicated to supporting those in need. From food and shelter to education and medical aid, their unwavering commitment is truly inspiring.
My fundraising goal is £5000—and with your generosity, we can reach this target and provide lifesaving aid to the hospital.
Please consider donating today and joining me in supporting Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital via Ukrainian Action (UK). Together, we can bring hope and positive change to those who need it most.
