This is my first marathon, so my goal is to finish without collapsing!

I’ve chosen to support a local charity, as these don’t usually get a look in when it comes to large events like the London Marathon. Open Hands is a fantastic local charity supporting those in greatest need right here in Leicester. We don’t always get exposed to this world in our day to day spheres, so this is a great opportunity to support a charity that is doing great work to provide for, and empower some of the people with greatest need in our community.

So don’t be shy, do something to make yourself feel great, donate to help our local community and help drag me over that finish line!

(And before you ask, I won’t be wearing any kind of banana man / spider man / gorilla / mankini costume!)
