Story

So… as some of you may know Dreen and I have signed up for a trip to support the URBOND Child Education charity programme. We will be travelling to Guinea (the 10th poorest country in the world) in October for a 12 day project where we will be helping with the launch of a new community school (built by URBOND), teaching the kids and adults on a variety of subjects including English (I know… me!!), personal hygiene, and the importance of education. We will also be meeting with the local British and Guinean officials to continue to raise the profile of the programme

We are slightly terrified and very excited about our alternative holiday. If you could spare a few quid for this fantastic cause, donations would be gratefully received. We have paid for the trip ourselves, and all of the funds raised will go directly to the Child Education Programme.

We will post regular updates in the build up and while we are there.

Many thanks for reading this far… To donate its the orange ”give now” button on the right 😁👍
