Story
On the 12th of October we will be running the Royal Parks Half marathon in memory of my beautiful daughter, and Jonny’s niece, Emily, sharing her weight (23kg) on our shoulders.
Emily died from a brain tumour in August 2022, just 8 years old. She is so loved and missed every day and we are now doing our absolute best to help raise money for research to find kinder, more effective treatments for brain tumours, and ultimately a cure. It is too late for our family but we want to see families in the future given more hope.
To help try and raise as much awareness as possible, we will be carrying the weight Emily was when she died - 23kg - sharing this between us with weighted vests.
We will do our best to carry her through the parks of London, all the way to the finish line.
This is all for you Ems 💛

If you can share our page, donate if you can, or simply read Emily’s story and think about her for a moment, we would be so grateful.
Thank you!
Andy and Jonny
