Andy's fundraiser for Simon Says

Andy Beardmore is raising money for Simon Says

14,000 km canoe expedition · 25 March 2024

Simon Says aims is to support children & young people who have a significant person in their life who has died or is dying. Whilst we can’t take away the pain of bereavement, with appropriate support & information, we can help families understand what has happened & gradually gain future hope.

"This 14,000 km journey will begin in March 2024 in France, canoeing through Germany, Austria, Hungary,Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria, descending the Danube river to the Black Sea, along the coast past Turkey,Greece, where i will take a cheeky "short cut' through the Corinthian Canal then following the coast to Montenegro,Croatia,Slovenia and then across Italy. I will coast-hug all the way along the Mediterranean coast before taking the Rhone north, against the current( ! ),to my start point on the French coast".

Loss of a family member can have devastating consequences to anyone particularly a child, the financial impact for a lone parent can be very difficult leading many to seek assistance from food banks and other charitable resources, any help you feel able to render for this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated
