Raising Awareness for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF)

Dates: 16th to 28th September 2024

I am embarking on a life-changing motorcycle journey across the UK, from the northern tip of John o'Groats to the southern point of Land's End, to raise awareness for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF).

I will be supported by my two brothers, Dave and Mike from our motorhome HQ.

APF provides crucial support for everyone affected by pulmonary fibrosis—a devastating lung disease that affects breathing and quality of life. They offer vital help to families, raise awareness, educate, and campaign for change.

PF has no cure and the average life expectancy is 3-7 years.

Why This Ride Matters

In 2018, I was in end-stage pulmonary fibrosis.

Thanks to the incredible support from APF, I was able to survive long enough to receive a life-saving double lung transplant.

This journey is my way of giving back and ensuring others have the same chance at life that I was given.
