I've always undertaken a challenge as I've reached or approached a milestone birthday and this year I'm 60 so 20 years on from my first and only full marathon I thought i'd participate in another BUT mainly for the reason below!

My challenge however is nothing compared to the one Adam Woolford, my old school friend of nearly 50 years (and we were best men at each others weddings) faces as he has been diagnosed with MND.

The Rob Burrows Leeds Marathon takes place on 12th May 2024 and all your funds will go towards supporting people impacted by MND and the vital research to find a cure, as one does not currently exist.
