Story
I‘m excited to say I’ll be running the London Marathon in April in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK).
I have chosen to raise money for this charity because I’ve seen the challenges that those with this condition have to work to try to overcome every day. MDUK are the leading charity assisting children and adults living with muscle wasting and weakening conditions. They provide education and support as well as funding pioneering research into treatments and cures.
Many people with these conditions can't run and may find any movement painful, so I’m running on their behalf and asking you to sponsor me so MDUK can continue to work to improve the quality of life for those affected by this disease.
Having never run a marathon before, it will be a huge challenge which is why I’m doing it for such a special cause. Any donation you can make will help power me through the 26.2 miles and support MDUK to help those affected by Muscular Dystrophy.
Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
