Andy's fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now

Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024 · 28 April 2024 ·
Having organised different fundraisers in 2021 (22 mile walk and Afternoon Tea) and 2022 (21 Kilometre Swim) in 2023 I had a wee rest from fundraising but volunteered to help at the Breast Cancer Now "Pink Ribbon Walk" at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.
So although not yet Breast Cancer Awareness Month, time to get back to raising funds! This year I will be taking part in the Kilt Walk on 28 April 2024 - 20 Miles from Glasgow to Balloch.
In October 2020 we lost Elaine to Breast Cancer just after she retired from the Beatson Cancer Research Institute. This was devastating for myself and the rest of the family, but we continue to support Breast Cancer Now to fund their research into finding a cure and providing support to so many families affected by this disease.
Last year I was privileged to volunteer alongside a number of people who have been affected by Breast Cancer at the "Pink Ribbon Walk" at Chatsworth and was overawed by the positivity showed by my fellow volunteers and those participating.
Please give what you can and thank you on behalf of all those benefiting from your donations.
Andy
