Story

My name is Richard Dorris, I am an Adult with a learning disability and I attend the Leyton Road Day Centre (formerly High Path). We all support the Wombles, and the Paul Strank Charitable Trust kindly sponsor us to attend matches each season. I would like to raise money for their charity to say a big thank you for their kindness to me and my friends.

I am going to do a half-time challenge on the new Plough Lane pitch in front of a few thousand fans! So please cheer me on as I start at the half-way line, and then dribble down the pitch before I try to score past Ivor 'The Cat' Heller in front of cheering AFC Wimbledon Fans! I think I can do it and raise lots of money for this great local charity.

If I raise £200,000,000 I will buy Harry Kane for AFC Wimbledon and get John Terry out of retirement, but if I don’t reach the target of £200,000,000, the money raised will go to the Paul Strank Charity Trust!

Harry, if you're reading this, please chip in. You want to win a title and you can do this at AFC Wimbledon by lifting the League 2 title!

I have been waiting 3 years to do this due to Covid restrictions and now finally I have a date: April 22nd v Swindon Town and I can’t wait!

Thank you very much for your support.

Richard
